Build and maintain PostgreSQL extensions in C and Rust, applying deep knowledge of Postgres internals.
Diagnose and resolve production issues, including extension failures, core dumps, and performance bottlenecks.
Own idempotent deployment pipelines across thousands of instances, including testing and rollout.
Manage extension compatibility, upgrade paths, and conflict resolution.
Work with background workers, shared memory, and the hook system.
Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal product, engineering, support, and success teams.

Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL internals, including the query planner, executor, and storage engine.
Proven experience building PostgreSQL extensions in both C and Rust.
Strong understanding of PostgreSQL's permission model: RLS, roles, and grants.
Experience troubleshooting production issues in managed Postgres environments.
Experience building and owning idempotent deployments across many running instances.
Ability to read and navigate the PostgreSQL source code.
Experience with multi-tenant database architectures and running PostgreSQL at scale.
