Coordinate the organization's communications strategy and keep visual branding and messaging consistent across departments.
Develop and carry out creative, effective communications plans.
Raise public awareness of World BEYOND War's educational and activist work.
Increase earned media coverage across many media types.
Pitch stories, spokespeople, articles, reports, books, and videos to major outlets and independent media.
Plan campaigns with other staff and volunteers to maximize communications results.
Help volunteer chapter organizers plan and promote their work.
Design graphics (including billboards, banners, and website visuals) and videos.
Coordinate with the Social Media Manager on shared campaigns.
Collaborate with the Organizing, Education, Executive/Technology, and Development teams.
Attend a weekly staff meeting and a monthly board meeting when needed.
