Job Description
Production Team Leader in BAT Operations (permanent, hybrid)
Lead the PMD team technically and as a manager, including coaching and development
Plan, control and monitor production and mixing processes for flavors and recipes
Keep production on schedule while meeting quality, safety and hygiene standards
Continuously improve processes, with a focus on productivity
Ensure compliance with internal and legal rules on occupational safety, environmental protection and related standards
Train employees and support team growth
Lead or take part in local projects and support regional or global projects
Requirements
Completed technical or science vocational training with an additional qualification (such as industrial master), or a degree in food technology, chemistry, process engineering or similar
Several years of production experience and leadership experience, ideally in tobacco, chemical or food industries
Assertiveness, confident presence and strong leadership and communication skills
Experience with process and performance optimization, continuous improvement (KVP) and lean management tools
Resilience, a habit of questioning processes, quick understanding and strong prioritization and deadline management
Good spoken and written English
Good working knowledge of MS Office, MES and SAP
Very good spoken and written German, including presentation skills
