Tackle hard cases such as poor connectivity, low literacy and languages with little training data
Evaluate and integrate the latest voice and text models
Own problems end to end, from discovery through production, with product and engineering leaders

5+ years of AI/ML experience
Hands-on experience building with LLMs or AI systems (prompting, RAG, embeddings, fine-tuning, safety guardrails)
Strong grounding in statistics and ML theory
Solid Python and backend engineering skills
Record of taking AI/ML systems from prototype to production with attention to reliability, performance and scalability
Fluency with AI coding agents; deploying them in production is a bonus
Bonus: speech or LLM research, voice AI, conversational AI, low-resource languages, high-risk agent environments like finance; French a big bonus
