Build supplier relationships that secure steady supply and competitive prices
Conduct quality checks on maturity, size and export standards
Negotiate prices, payment terms and other commercial terms
Track availability, seasonal patterns, market prices and supply trends
Manage supplier agreements and confirm volumes, quality and delivery
Coordinate with exporters to ensure timely shipments
Ensure export documents, certificates, permits and compliance items are complete before each shipment
Produce regular sourcing and market reports with recommendations
Support onboarding of an exporting company at the start

3-5 years in Hass avocado sourcing, procurement, quality control or agricultural supply-chain management
Experience in supplier negotiation and relationship management
Knowledge of avocado quality and export standards
Experience with contracts and commercial negotiations
Strong market awareness and ability to spot sourcing opportunities
Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently, travel to farms and manage multiple suppliers
