Denidel Consortium LLP ("Denidel", "we", "us") provides career coaching, recruitment support, HR consulting, and e-learning services through this platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have over it — in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019 ("the Act").
Denidel Consortium LLP is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at info@denidel.com.
We use your data to provide the services you sign up for, specifically to:
We process your data on the basis of: your consent (given at registration and, separately, for marketing communications); the necessity of processing to perform the service you've requested (contractual necessity); and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the platform, balanced against your rights.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary to deliver the service you requested — for example, with a recruiter or employer when you apply to their job listing, or with payment processors (such as Paystack/M-Pesa) to process a transaction — or where required by law. Any third party we work with is required to protect your data to a standard consistent with the Act.
Denidel operates between Kenya and Cyprus, and some of our service providers (such as cloud hosting or payment processing) may process data outside Kenya. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data receives an equivalent level of protection, as required under the Act's cross-border transfer provisions.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If your account becomes inactive, we retain your data for up to 12 months to allow you to resume using our services, after which it is deleted or anonymised, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or the law requires us to keep it longer (e.g. financial transaction records).
Under the Data Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@denidel.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with the Act's requirements.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures — including access controls and secure storage — to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe and will notify affected users and the ODPC of any data breach as required by law.
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or the law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted on the platform.
