Recruiting on behalf of a maritime client; rotating shifts including up to two night shifts.
Monitor personnel movements, including embarkations, disembarkations and replacements, in accordance with established procedures.
Report completed movements promptly and accurately.
Monitor departmental correspondence and group communications involving team leaders, personnel, port agents and vessels.
Address operational and HR-related needs, including travel, transportation, documentation and contracts.
Operate the 24/7 operations call centre after office hours and escalate issues appropriately.
Handle after-hours operational requests under the guidance of the duty officer.
Collect and relay information regarding incidents onboard vessels or at ports.
Assist with urgent or ongoing medical cases and personnel welfare requests.
Maintain daily operational documentation and ensure a thorough handover to the next shift.
Carry out other department-related tasks when required.

Ability to communicate professionally and tactfully with people of different nationalities.
Very good written and verbal command of English.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Proactive, organised and able to take initiative.
Computer literate.
Academic or college diploma, or equivalent work experience.
Relevant training.
