Job Description
  • Recruiting on behalf of a maritime client; rotating shifts.
  • Operate and monitor CCTV and surveillance security systems.
  • Report safety, security or technical matters promptly and create the relevant tickets.
  • Coordinate daily tasks in a timely and effective manner.
  • Conduct a thorough handover before each shift begins.
  • Assist with training and provide departmental support as instructed.
  • Assist in investigations when required.
  • Follow the prescribed procedures and actions in the event of an incident.
Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal command of English.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong understanding of CCTV and surveillance systems and their operation.
  • Good understanding of maritime operations and cargo vessels.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented and able to solve problems effectively.
  • Ability to observe details, plan, multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Strong monitoring, reporting, task organisation and record-keeping abilities.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Relevant and proven work experience.
  • Relevant training and at least one year of experience in maritime security.
