Own product direction and execution for a key part of the payments product area, with measurable outcomes
Improve merchant and shopper experiences across onboarding, checkout, refunds and disputes, payouts, reporting and reliability
Reduce failures and friction, lower support volume and improve ratings and merchant trust
Use data, support signals and merchant feedback to set priorities and define success measures
Work with payments partners, including Stripe and PayPal, on integrations, dependencies and issues
Keep stakeholders aligned through clear written and verbal updates on progress, risks and decisions

7+ years in product roles, including senior IC experience on complex problems
4+ years in payments or fintech, ideally at scale; large or global launches a plus
Strong product judgment in ambiguous situations
Comfort with high-trust, reliability-critical systems
Ability to work deeply with engineers and designers on technical constraints and tradeoffs
Strong analytical skills and a practical approach to metrics and instrumentation
Clear written and verbal communication in an async, distributed environment
Familiarity with WooCommerce, WordPress or open-source ecosystems is a plus
